The fastest and best matching Vapor skate.
The new asymmetric shoe construction ensures an anatomically correct fit as the inside (middle) part of the shoe extends further than the outside (side) part. It also promotes better energy transfer and mobility, providing greater medial support where power is driven, while the shorter lateral side provides a better range of motion.
The new FlexLock Pro tongue features thermoformable composite inserts that mold to the player's foot like never before. The material, which is similar to the ortho-resin found in the SpeedPlate, also provides 30% better protection for the top of the foot.
The one-piece lacing has been softened on this 1XR 2017 to allow even better forward bending, which is also helped by the FlexLock Pro tongue. The second through sixth (top) eyelets are T-shaped with a lace lock to keep the laces tight throughout the game.
Internally, the 2-zone LockFit + Pro insole, which was the result of feedback from professional Bauer athletes, makes its debut in 1XR skates. The lower zone is sticky, grippy to the touch and keeps the foot in the shoe to prevent energy loss due to slippage. The upper part is made of HydraMax 2 material, which perfectly wicks moisture away.
The lugs feature the best Bauer composite outsole, lightweight Kryptonium and Revision Flex wheels that make their Bauer debut on this 1XR.
